Intel Compute Review

The first thing that stands out with the Intel Compute Windows TV stick is its size. The stick is a huge 14.6 cm in length which is bigger than most TV stick devices out there. This is a device designed to run the Windows 10 operating system and so has been made bigger to accommodate the required hardware. In terms of hardware the Intel Compute comes in two flavours. The first is built around the Intel Atom Z3735F Quad core CPU. This is a low power consumption CPU with a clock rate of up to 1.83 GHz and 2MB cache.

The STK1AW32SC version comes with 2GB DDR3 memory which isn’t huge but is double that of similar devices. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage to hold the Windows 10 OS and your media files. The STK2m3W64CC model uses the Intel Core m3-6Y30 Processor which has 4M Cache and a clock rate of up to 2.20 GHz. The higher model also offers 4G RAM and 64GB of storage.
